Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Distance: 50 km
On arrival at Kilimanjaro airport meet our representative & transfer Mount Meru Game Lodge & sanctuary in Arusha, this charming lodge is at the foot of Mount Meru with some animal species as it was once a Game sanctuary nursing rescued animals in the wilderness. Later our safari manager will come for detailed safari briefing before leaving you to relax & enjoy lodge’s facilities.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Distance: 139 km
Non game viewing time: 2 to 3 hrs.
After breakfast at your lodge, your safari driver guide will meet you at the lobby then your 10 Days Tanzania honeymoon safari Zanzibar beach holidays will begin. You will drive via Arusha city so if you have any last minute parches please ask your drive. Then depart Arusha city for Tarangire National Park highlighted with large elephant population found nowhere else on earth.
The park is located at the base of the Great Rift Valley and it is characterized by small hills and low land dominated by acacia woodland and baobab trees that dwarfing same animal species that comes beneath it. Tarangire River & swamps are the only permanent source of water in the entire park supporting a large number of animal species which includes herds of elephant, buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, hippos, lion, leopard, hyena, jackals and many more.
This park is also home to some three rare species of Greater Kudu, fringe-eared Oryx and the ash stalling. Tarangire is the bird’s paradise over 400 bird species have been recorded here which include ostrich, secretary bird, ibises, herons, pelicans and many more. Late afternoon drive to Ngorongoro Coffee Lodge for dinner & overnight. The driving is via The Great East African Rift Valley where you can have a brief stop for sunset watch & an amazing views of Lake Manyara & its forest.

Day 03: Tarangire – Ngorongoro Crater – Serengeti
Distance: 75 km
Non game viewing time: 3 to 4 hrs.
After breakfast depart for Ngorongoro Crater for a wonderful game viewing. The driving is along beautiful high lying farmlands of Karatu all the way to Ngorongoro gate. After all park formalities drive up to Ngrongoro Crater view point where you can have short stop for some pictures of the Crater floor from the rim before descending over 600 meters into the crater floor for game drive, packed lunch will be served at the Crater floor.
Ngorongoro Crater is often defined as the 8th nature wonder of the world, the Crater was formed some million years ago due to some internal forces, after eruption the middle part sank down & left 600 meters high walls. Today it is the world’s largest unfolded volcanic caldera and a natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s densest animal populations and it is here where the rare black rhino can be observed in their natural habitat. . You can expect to spot herds of wildebeest, buffalo, zebra, eland, hippos, African elephant & the rare black rhinos.
Another big draw card in this picturesque Crater is the dense population of predators which include lion, hyena, cheetahs, jackals and the ever-illusion leopard which sometimes need binoculars eye to spot. In the afternoon start your way to Serengeti National Park with en-route & sunset game drive over the vast Serengeti plains looking for big cats & the Great Wildebeest Migration (Depending on traveling dates). Drive to the beautiful Kisura Tented Camp in central Serengeti for dinner & overnight.

Day 4-5: 2 Full Day Game Drive in the Vast Serengeti Plains
One of these days as early as 06:30 depart the camp with packed breakfast box & lunch box for an early morning game drive in the mightier Serengeti National Park the African’s number one safari destination. Serengeti is among the UNESCO’s World Heritage Site with a high diversity of wildlife. It is in Serengeti where the world phenomena “The Great Wildebeests Migration” taking place annually.
Early morning game drive can allow you to spot cat family on the road as they try to avoid morning mist. You may also see other nocturnal predators coming back from their long night of hunting or a group of lioness trying to organize a morning ambush. You will beak for breakfast somewhere in the bush before following the Great Serengeti Wildebeest Migration (depending on traveling dates) & spend much time with the great herds anticipation to see animal actions like fighting, hunting, eating even killing. You may also expect to see herds of elephant, buffalo, topi, hippos & many more. Late afternoon before or during sunset drive back to your camp for dinner & overnight. (If you wish to do a Serengeti Balloon Safari one of these days is ok).

Day 06: Serengeti – Zanzibar
Day 6 of your honeymoon safari Zanzibar beach holidays you can be morning at leisure or a morning game drive until 10:00 am before driving to Seronera airstrip to catch your flight to Zanzibar at 11:05 hours. On arrival at Zanzibar airport you will be met by our representative and transfer to the beautiful Sunshine hotel Zanzibar on the Northeast beaches of Zanzibar (Matemwe Beach) for dinner & overnight.

Day 7 – 8 – 9: Zanzibar Beach Holidays
10 Days Tanzania honeymoon safari Zanzibar beach allows you to spend 4 Days on beautiful Matemwe beach, relaxing and swimming in the worm clean water of Indian Ocean. If you wish you can organize some water sports with your hotel or one of these days you can visit The Old town of Zanzibar Island “The Stone Town” or do famous Zanzibar excursion as per this link (Zanzibar Island tours & excursion)

Day 10: Departure Transfer
Distance: 50 km
After breakfast at your hotel and depending on your departure schedule we transfer you to Zanzibar airport for your flight back home
